  • What is product modernization in context of software products?

Product Modernization in context of Software Engineering is the ability to modify or upgrade a software product to ensure the current product’s functional or non-functional aspects are future ready for consistently meeting change in business goals or priorities.

Functional aspects of the product can be understood as the activities that directly impacts the functional behavior of the application for example -

    · Building and supporting additional user stories,

    · Implementing new workflows

    · Implementing new touchpoints for the users

    · Supporting a new alternate experience for the user to navigate

While modernization around the non-functional aspects can be understood as series of activities that are taken for the product like -

    · Performing optimization in database or application layer to boost performance

    · Transition to a new technology

    · Transition to a new architecture like monolithic to micro services

    · Migration to cloud, or optimizing cloud usage

    · Making the application more configurable, measurable, traceable or reusable

    · Introducing additional security layer to satisfy change in regulatory needs

    · Implementing automated Operational procedures for changing the way the builds are deployed in the stage or production environments

Thus, the context of modernization changes from one situation to the other. For example, if you have a software legacy product which is hosted on premise, modernization can be done to migrate the product on cloud. If someone has a product which should be available on new touchpoints, modernization can be series of activities that brings all or limited set of features to specific touchpoint

  • How can AI change the future of Healthcare?

AI is already changing the way healthcare is delivered. Be it patient care, research and discoveries, revenue optimization, or fraud analytics, nursing assistants there are a number of possibilities that enterprises are evaluating.

Imaging we extract data from a lab report and prescription, which gets scanned and all the patients with similar lab results, and common problems over a period of time are classified. Based on such classification, a program can diagnose and start predicting the medicines to prescribe.

Another use case is case prioritization, based on the symptoms and the conditions of the patient, a clinic can automatically decide and route the patient to a priority queue.

On the revenue cycle side, we can check different data sets like discharge summaries, EOBs to find correlation between different conditions. Imagine we predict the most common cause of readmissions and alert patients proactively. This may reduce hospital readmission rates which may potentially save a lot of unnecessary spends.

The biggest challenge for a successful AI implementation is the availability of good and sizable data.

  • How does MFA work?

When attempting to access your email or other Office365 resources from off the campus network, it'll require you to enter a verification code after logging in. That code is provided via a text message or call , counting on settings you configure in your account.

    • Phone Call - Calls you at a predefined phone number and communicates the code
    • Text Message - Sends a text message to a predefined phone number with the code
    • Email - Sends a email to a predefined email address with the code
    • Mobile App - Uses the Microsoft Authenticator App (Windows Phone, Android, and iOS only) to get a code or prompt you to verify verification. Know more about MFA please visit
  • Why are doctor's appointment wait times long in the USA?

First, there is a shortage of primary care physicians in many parts of the country, particularly in rural areas. This means that there are not enough doctors to meet the demand for healthcare services, resulting in longer wait times for appointments.

Second, many people in the US have health insurance with high deductibles and copays, which can make it difficult for them to afford medical care. As a result, they may delay seeking medical attention until their condition worsens, leading to more demand for appointments and longer wait times.

Third, many doctors have limited office hours and are booked well in advance. This is partly due to the time constraints of the doctors themselves, but it is also due to the complex administrative and regulatory requirements that doctors must meet in order to operate their practices.

  • Can you assist me in selecting a healthcare plan for my mom?

You should consider your mother's specific healthcare needs. Does she have any chronic conditions that require ongoing medical care, such as diabetes or heart disease? Does she need prescription drug coverage? Is she planning to have any medical procedures in the coming year?

Once you have a clear understanding of your mother's healthcare needs, you can compare the different healthcare plans that are available to her. Look at the premiums, deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket maximums for each plan, as well as the network of healthcare providers that are included.

You should also check if her preferred healthcare providers are in-network, as using out-of-network providers can be significantly more expensive. In addition, make sure to read the fine print and understand any exclusions, limitations, or restrictions that may apply to the plan.

If you are still unsure which healthcare plan is best for your mother, you can seek the help of a licensed insurance agent or a healthcare navigator. They can provide you with personalized advice and guidance based on your mother's specific needs and budget.
